Sounds about right these days, political spectrum is all over the place, symptom of post-industrial Harry Potterism of the second and third orders. And various institutions are even worse than that ...
Meantime, seems a senior/experienced/important Russian General (presumably Colonel-General i.e. Colonel) got rubbed out in the Sunday airport assault - hence negotiations by another active service RF general for a ceasefire to recover the bodies. Unclear what kind of unit/s or combination of regular SF units were involved in the assault.
Ceasefire last night didn't even get started.
Regular army from North Caucasus now sitting tight in Donetsk centre. Still badged as 135 Motor Rifle Regiment and ancillary units so 58th Army. Same units who went into Georgia on day 2 and 3 after the airborne VDV units back in 2008.
