they could, BUT, i felt like they have hinted at them being separate ( in the DTC comic ) characters . which I sincerely hope they do.

makes it so much more interesting!

At least if it IS :baron: The Baron, (note; I said 'if'), then at least we've got him back for the first time in 25 years. I guess the toy designers had their hands tied by Hasbro somewhat because they were under orders to include a :cobra: Cobra character in a :enemy: Red Shadows set, so they may have just thought "Let's make a one of these guys a :cobra: Cobra instead."

Although I believe that too much continuity can get in the way of a good story - (Star Trek; First Contact was a great film... but how many early Star Trek stories were c*cked-up by it?) - I guess you could say Ironblood left to become a leading figure in :cobra: Cobra, (just like in BAF), but of course the top job was already fillled, so after a time of looking like this... :cobracommander: he had to come up with something else; The Interrogator.

In my upcoming story, I've kept the dates / times / identities a little bit vague so no one can get p!$$£d off with anything clashing with anyone else's story  .

As for The Interrogator, I guess we're not going to know until someone takes that mask off...

Space Commander no one said that we had to do a continuing universe in our stories so don't give yourself a headache trying to fit in your fan fic with other peoples stories. Mine in particular contradicts BAF where Ironblood founded Cobra after setting up his Red Shadows and became :cobracommander: as I have them and Red Jackal and Destro as separate people.

It's not a headache, not in the slightest. I write for fun. (And for money..., when it's not a fan-fic).
As you'll see when the finished artwork is posted, The 21st Century Mini-Comics Project was part of a much, MUCH broader project, so large in fact that those involved were sworn to secrecy due to legal issues concerning copyright. If our plans had borne fruit, there was a chance (however slim) that our project would've reached far-flung audiences. With that in mind, it was in our best interests to come up with something that would've hopefully pleased fans of BAF, MAF, and who-knows-how-many-other iterations. Those who worked on the project and saw my rough versions of the story know what I mean. It wouldn't have been a fan-fic, it would've been the starting point of something new.

All will be revealed when the final versions are posted.

But this isn't about ME, we were talking about The Interrogator!

So... any more clues on his identity, gang?

Nice Painting ..I'd rather if it had Action Force Logo and a more English title ..like" Holiday in the Shadows" Vacations such a American word ..Glad i'll be doing a retcon story as it won't interfere with whatever events are occurring here(unless they rewrite the whole origin thing altogether..now that would mess things up)
