Hasbro have released @ least one modern G.I. Joe S.A.S 12" figure, I remember seeing one @ the last Birmingham toy fair.

Most of the UK fans won't have seen the movies either, or the TV show, it was never shown over here.
I love the idea of the Red Shadows as Action Man's enemy ........................
your right, also UK fans have NOT seen the Mexican only exclusive 3rd movie in the ACTION MAN trilogy. Only released in Mexico but using the same CGI models from the 2nd movie, it was only dubbed in Spanish ( an you can watch it, on my youtube in the appropriate threads here on this forum ) and never English. So a simple red-dub could make it possible
by the way if anyone knows how to add subtitles to a movie please let me know a member here was nice enough to translate the whole movie and I would love to be able to add subtitles to it so people can watch it

I love the idea of the Red Shadows as Action Man's enemy but would prefer a full scale Action Force revival if Hasbro were going to create a new 3 3/4" figure line. Maybe they should release it as a European only range seeing as G.I. Joe doesn't seem to sell very well over here.

See also in 2004-6 hasbro did use a ACTION FORCE name for Action Mans team but the logo was different and it was very small and almost unnoticeable as it wasnt used that much
they need to change it around like Palitoy did, have ACTION FORCE the major BIG logo and have ACTION MAN next to it, small
Having the Red Shadows as the enemy will set it aside/apart from the GI JOE line but also at the same time have a connection to older fans who can help it grow a fan base. Hasbro needs to do something like that to draw in old fans to help push the fandom. we old fans cant save the line but its a nice foundation to start with

Little Humby is 8 and got his first AM when he was a toddler. He grabbed a talking one in a shop and although he was probably too young we bought it for him. He still has it and a trunk load of other stuff mainly from car boots. He has all the X Robots barring the turquoise one and when he saw the pic of the new ones he loved them.
I think that the military thing is not the way for AM as in the UK as HM Armed Forces is doing that now so Little Humby would like to see him as a Police/Anti Terrorist or Special Agent. I really think that if they went back to old the Palitoy AM style of having seperate uniform & weapon packs to add to the figure this would be successful.

agreed, it would also separate it from GI JOE, and that is what hasbro needs to do, do things to separate it from the JOE line. They need to have it a different kind of play value
a team of special agents fighting Dr. X and the RED SHADOWS
I would definitely not make him a extreme sports star, that junk has to go LOL

Could'nt agree more. He tends to see the sports stuff as a bit of fun or uses it for transport for the missions but AM always ends up with full kit and weapon to take on Dr X, his Robots and any other bad guys lurking. I have praised Hasbro customer services in another post but I think that their market research dept should get out on the streets and ask the kids what they think!

I think he needs to be some sort of international model or something... maybe a popstar?

HASBRO need to stop arsing about and re-release sh*t like No-Face, MAXX, Dr. X. Proper HUMAN villains. not shite-o XBot's and a Dr X Variant that's just a repaint, I personally have little human henchmen due to that.
