Took these a few years ago - just 2 hours hike from my front door (1/2 hike, 1 & 1/2 ascent - it's a bitch to climb!)

1) On Kinder Scout, sun setting - the view is eastwards to Castleton and the Iron Age hillfort at Mam Tor.

2) The view of Kinder Scout over the reservoir.

Yeah, Derbyshire is pretty lovely... in places.
