Super sweet display

. Just out of interest, do you have a cut off year when it comes to collecting?

Yup, my complete set will end with 89 and I only need Payload v1 and Aero-Viper to reach that goal (minus Night Force). I will however still keep some of the later figures as they look nice but dont want to collect them all.

Very nice, I see what you mean about the Joes being little crowded though, but that does mean you get to play spot the interesting figure.
Any plans to do a similar setup with your vehicles.

It will hopefully improve once I find time to move them all into the 4 empty shelves

As for the vehicles I started to make a huge (5,50 meters wide and 1 meter deep) shelf system for all the vehicles with drivers but after I bought the USS that plan went out the window. I need to figure out how to put it all up for proper display but it might involve "inventing" a sort of "hovering" display shelf for the USS which can be lowered from the ceiling *lol*

Now that would be cool, the press of a button and the Flagg descends from the ceiling while at the same time the Action Force theme blares out from hidden speakers.

It will be a bit more low-tech, something with a few wires and a pully system but I may have to consider that theme-idea

Here is the motorpool. I had envisioned a navy battle between the two but it seems to be a little tight with that "mo-fu" of a ship in one end and the Terror Drome in the other. As you can see the section underneath is also getting pretty cramped but I guess moving a few of the boxes like the one for the Terror Drome and Mobile Command Center might give me a little more room for the remaining items I need in my collection. I have had to move the Iron Grenadier stuff to a small Ikea-shelf for now.

Holy moly. That's spectacular. I mean, really, I'm speechless.

Thanks Chops, I am also very happy about the current state of my collection

Without being complete sure I think this is the largest GI collection in Denmark and I hope to expand it over time to include the final small pieces like the Howitcher playset etc. but maybe even the Defiant Space Shuttle set if I ever find one
