Um, now we are mentioning the movie, and I didn't like Cobra-La there, because they included the part I don't like ( :cobracommander: being a Cobra-La member).
I'd say the things I liked about the movie were Beachhead training the Rawhides (specially Law's comment about him driving the car and Order finding the bombs "we tried the other way, but didn't work" ) and Duke's non-death (not it for itself, but due to the ridiculous edit having the pootential for jokes about Dukes thoughness  ). Nemesis Enforcer was done well, though.

The Cobra-La I liked is from a two-part crossover with Transformers; there they aren't related to :cobra: (they really are Kohbrala, but everybody misname them) and they behave more like fanatics than simply other version of :cobra: .

Read my Dio-story too. There I had to make them work with :cobra: to have a link with the Marvel :af: 's "As Thick as Thieves", but I tried to fix that. Here is it: viewtopic.php?f=24&t=6297&start=0 and yes, I know many costumes don't fit with the timeframe of the story.

i do like the movie as it brings back some nostalgic memories for me, however the eighties cheese is what it's all about for me, not to bothered about the story just simply the cheese.

I always wanted a Pythona figure to go with my Cobra La team  When I first saw the Movie (Really bad UK dubbing) I thought the Royal Guard were great  the Slaughter's marauders werw totally awesome.

Saw the tail off, and then glue it to a figure stand?

In fact, cutting the tail is a good idea; do it and then make a ball of green plasticine. Put Golobulus on it and you will have him as he appeared during most of G.I. Joe: The Movie.
Hasbro should have had Golobulus come with a special stand shaped like a coil or something, like the version shown in catalogs. That would have been a good idea.

I have a nice Kwok beer glass at home that might help? They have a bulb shaped bottom to the glass so come with a nice wooden stand to hold the glass when not drinking from it! Very civilised!

Ahhh, google throws up a piccie for us:-

Buy one - drink the beer, and then you have a Globulous display stand!

That's a good idea, seriously, but are you sure it's the necessary width? It could be too tight or too loose.
