Do you mean plastic sheet? Early palitoy star wars figures also have plastic sheets behind them. I think its to stop tge figure sticking to the card esp figures with capes.

Um. Not to open too big a can of worms. I noticed some numbers on my VAM mailaway box lids. I wonder how they tie in? I should check my other carded/boxed VAM stuff I guess.

Right, all the leaflets and everything have their own codes. Most of my carded stuff is restickered or even packaged locally, so no visible numbers. But, I have a heap of 40th boxed bits and they also have cat numbers. Hopper, next time you are on, LMK if you want any of them.

Actually, the equipment manuals have all the cat numbers. For example, the Training tower is 34725 and the original manual I have has L119 on it. Looks like a Palitoy trend, I'm betting their SW stuff will be the same.
