I think that is more of the overall story of AF, right Chopper? I look forward to it, but I was thinking of fleshing out some of the characters that are already known, even know new characters are cool and all too.

Baron, I think that title would work, but you should add in the character name that we are going to work on, like Backstory/Story project of Baron Ironblood. I don't know if all the data on that character would be totally needed, but might want to link to the comics, datafiles and other stories that relate to that character we are working one. Also one suggestion would be to keep some of the classified or unknown to a few of the characters names. I would hate to name Ironblood, as Cobra Commander has remained un-named up until the movie, but in my opinion that doesn't count, as it sucked being a Joe movie. It's only okay for an action flick, if you don't try and relate any of the characters in there. The movie was really messing up everything known about Joe, so I don't count it in anything.

Anyway, getting back to task at hand. Then work on history before, much like Rising Sun did and then maybe add in other aspects to just make the character more life like or colorful for a lack of better term. If we are going for Trooper type characters like the :shadow:, we can just keep it generalized to training, gear, and that type of thing. That is if you want to include them in this deal.

I'll work on digging up information on Argen7, and see if it's worth bringing to the table. If anything, we might be able to work with a blank slate on them. I'll contact my friend in Argentina and start asking away, but I think you are right about working on AF right now.

Good start, Jim. As fer the movie, that's joeverse so we don't need to worry about it. The beauty of this is that the story doesn't need to hint at or follow US convention. We don't even have to have the same names. Of course anything that wants to be tied in can be.

I had another idea for the German's, but I can tie that in for you easy enough. I do have my 2 German figures on my Shad shelf after all. ;-)

Anyone have any good full page (or close) Battle scans of German Wehrmacht soldiers?

Tried

?

Failing that, there are lots of non-AF Battle covers in the site archives.

Cool, Falcon squadron's been revamped. I like it. I have been thru all the Charleys war and Johnny Red scans and found nothing that was hi res enough and facing the right direction. Most of the pics of Germans are either being shot or putting their hands up. ;-)
