I had Prime, Starscream, Galvatron, Metroplex, Red Alert, Hotrod, Ultra Magnus and a couple of the minibots as a kid and I sold them a few years ago and have deeply regretted it ever since.

As a Kid I would have killed for a Soundwave or one of the Combiners.

Now all I have is a masterpiece Skywarp and a comic signed by Mr Furman.

I got my sounwave at a jumble sale at the local WI! I paid 50p with it and it came with ravage! I was very happy! That's why it was only one I had - times were hard by the time transformers came around! (can you hear those violins playing?)

I saved all my pocket money and birthday money from grandparents for ages to afford some of mine (I still remember buying Ultra Magnus in the Army and Navy department store in Bromley High Street), a couple of others were Birthday presents. I sound like a right spoilt little brat.

we certainly did ODB, I was buying the last of Dave's red shadow stock and a young fella said to me "what's that?" I said it's from Action Force he said "but it's Transformers day" so I immediately asked Dave if I could have a look at the star wars Lego.

His gun and Shoulder cannon doubled up as batteries that were stored in the back like a proper stereo of the time the ends came out I think they were spring loaded.
