I'd suggest dressing them up a little before submitting them, at the minute they read as very blunt (I know this is only a rough draft).

Interesting! Brian seems really quite nice and open with his answers. I still think they bought one of my RAH style heads and took a mould off it though, despite what they say! :-D

Was wondering how the sets were selling and so someone asked for me and this is what Brian Savage said;

"We are half way through the 3 3/4" sets and 1/3rd through the 12" sets. This is about normal for being 5 weeks out.

Thanks!

Brian"

I'm very disappointed these aren't selling better,......... really really am.

The price is putting a lot of people off, even some of us die hard collectors cant justify paying that much, I wont pay more than 5 or 6 quid for a vintage Shadow so I cant justify paying £12 / £13 each for modern repaints.
I know its 26 figures, some of which are unwanted (2 x Flint / 2 x Interrogator and an extra Black Major) but when buying in 'bulk' most people expect to be paying even less per figure.
Also I dont really see Red Torch as an army builder, I would like 1 but not 10.

I CAN afford these new sets but I wont be buying on principal.
Yes we want Red Shadows ..... but at the right price.

To put it in perspective .. as a 'one off' I would pay the £12 for one of the new Shadows but I wouldnt pay £12 each for 10 of them.
If they were for sale individually I would fork out for a Red Shadow, a Red Torch and a Black Major.

I would love to have one of these sets but regardless of how much campaigning has gone into getting them produced, the price is the real enemy :(

I know this sounds negative, but im sure quite a few people will have similar reasons for not buying.
Im sure if this was a 5 figure set ( 3 x Red Shadow, Red Torch and Black Major) they would have sold out by now.

I think its sad that a lot of these sets will be going to collectors who buy them just because they are Joecon exclusives, and not because they are Red Shadows, whilst the 'real' fans who want them most , will innevitably have to go without.

Been doing a little digging around for convention comic info and asked long time club and Hasbro comic penciler DON "SHELDONGOH" ( which you can find here : http://sheldongoh.deviantart.com/ ) the following question .

Are you doing the RED SHADOW Convention Comic this year for the club ? And would you be willing to do a short Q and A about it after the issue has been released?

I just finished the pencils on the Red Shadows story last week and yeah, it looks like that's the convention comic for this year. :)

I'd be happy to help out with the interview as soon as I'm able to talk about the work on that comic. I'll let you know when that is.

Thanks again for the support. It really means a lot.

Take care,
Don

This guys art is amazing, really enjoy his stuff, and cant wait to see this years comic

check his site out, and start thinking of questions youd like to submit everyone, sometime in the near future we will do a Q and A with him
