Since there was only 4 inches this morning I went to work. It started snowing again and it took 2 hours to do 16 miles all because my boss wouldn't let people leave early as it wasn't snowing.

well my boss in his infinite wisdom ordered 12 agency staff to work today as he was worried that people wouldn't make it to work, would of been a good idea if there were coming to work via the medium teleportation or maybe a helicopter, not only did 8 staff not turn up today neither did any agency, When i explained that agency workers use the same mode of transport as everyone else, looking rather confused with my remark he then stated 'but their agency staff' what a penis....

Actually wish I was there at the moment... to see the 'fall of civilization' (or winter as it's known elsewhere in the world)

I love snow!

Loads in the mountains here (Crete), but it's completely inaccessible :-( and nothing down in the plains.
All I can do is sit here dressed as :arctic: and stare forlornly at the hills.
We have had manically strong gales contantly blowing for 3 days straight, and making things difficult to do, but nothing like y'all back in Blighty

And Steve... a pint of ale? You're on (nothing but sh*t lagers here). I'll be there at 3.30. Anyone else?

And BTW

Serious offer. If anyone is going to Crete in the next few months, I can give you a guided tour of certain archaeological sites, including the exclusive "not available to the tourist" type affair. The benefits of having the keys!

And of course point out the best bars, tavernas, and places to visit.

Price - couple glasses o' vino (or :kraken: net!)

Right, some deliveries have resumed, but the delivery driver from one of the motor factors is worried about whether he'll be able to get to a garage two miles up the road from us. Two miles up the MAIN ROAD. Two miles up the CLEAR, NOT ICY, MAIN ROAD.

Go careful, little driver - you manatee's minge.
