Actually Paul, you may be onto something with the weapons/accesories

Working on V.2 as we speak, it will include a list/description of weapons, and known varients.

I just can't help it... really... please, someone help me. I'm about to disappear up my own varient!

Ooo, I feel told off!!!!
Tbh the pictures of the figs are as each of them stands on my shelf - be it wrong weapons or not. I've tended to drop them to the feet rather than have them in hand. I figure the best way of avoiding hassle is possibly to just avoid weapons all together as they get in the way of I.d ing the body parts anyway.

I agree with you, in a photo weapons detract from the overall view of the figure, which is the important bit.

But, a version 2 of the AF list would be useful, especially for the newby collector or similar, as it would show figure, description, and accessory.

dunno though, it's a lot of work!

And that photo of the Arctic Assault, you couldn't get him to stand a little straighter could you? Its just that it looks a little messy!

;-)

Ha! :doc: :doc: :doc:

The weapons & accessories are an intergral part of the action figure package, so are surely just as important as any figure part.

Indeed, because these are more often than not the 'lost' part, any reference work needs these included.

IMO.......

You're right Paul - TBH I was being a bit lazy, and thought that as the pics were to be used to ID the body parts to put together the component parts lists, I agree that if I'm to be taking a few pics of each figure I may as well spend an extra few minutes and get the right weapons out for each of them, so the Baron can use the pics for the archive if he wants to. So later this week once I start on Shelf 2 I'll try to put the correct weapons with each, and then take shots with, and without weapons. And then if that aint good enough for people they can "take their complaints, turn that sumbitch sideways, and stick it straight up their candy asses!" (to quote The Rock).

I would, but his leg is broken from 25 years ago and glued into the seated position! Sorry! Only other half and half one I have is the MOC one, so I'll have to ask someone else to do a better pic of him if we want one.

My old Z trooper is glued in the upright position. he suffered battle damage aeons ago and I've not had the heart to repair him. Got another trooper as well, but the ole guy is the boss. ;)

I'm only kind of mock-complaining, just pulling your leg a bit Steve [which I know you know].

I'm far too lazy to take the photos/compile the list myself, but more than happy to criticise and complain about the efforts of those that do. I'm such a valued board member!

I didn't know - I've been crying all weekend, and have only just now plucked up the courage to post about this whole issue. ;-)
