This site is for Action Force. That is both Palitoy and Hasbro. The archives contain full UK toys and comics sections. I am busting my balls to get BFTB accepted as a GI Joe site and for the Red Shadows to be recognised as GI Joe canon.
I think a divide between figures and vehicles is sensible. Yes, Red Laser was only sold with the Laser Exterminator, but that doesn't stop him from being a character in his own right.
US sites are NOT more open than we are here. There has been a fair bit of squabbling of late and it is bringing me down, but at it's heart BFTB is still one of the friendliest forums online.
Easiest thing for me is if people upload their customs to the forum section as per usual, but PM the competition organiser with their chosen submission separately. Simplest is one entry per member per month (under each category).
Scrap the "don't vote for yourself" rule, there's no way to enforce it and it will no doubt lead to further bickering.
I will host a winning custom of the month gallery, possibly with a splash link from the homepage.
Now enough with the indignation, everyone!

Jamar and the Baron post on GI Joe sites both of who aren't that fussed about the product they are trying to reach out to a wider audience and generate more interest in our site and BAF it's a bit crappy that members on here seem to want to push others out this also won't look good to anybody coming on here from those sites.

most people on here want more members, unfortunately a few people dont seem to want this.
each to their own, but these are the kind of people that put me off the U.S. forums.
im starting to have 2nd thought here now, just dug out my old marvel stuff & decided to do some other cutoms for a while.
i love the palitoy stuff, im just not single minded about it. there are more people on here interested in joes than just me & ironblood.

rather than pm, just post pics & description in a thread set up for the contest.
would anyone really vote for themselves?
i do think it is a shame that a few people on here are obviously gonna vote palitoy regardless.
if you want this accepted as a joe website then some people need to change their attitudes!
the shadows that have appeared recently have nothing to do with action force, but it's awesome they are being used again! hopefully this will continue, so joes fans should be welcomed with open arms & members on here shouldnt be alienating them.
the link between the 2 is there, so lets embrace it!
i really want to do a contest on here, is that cool baron?

Yeah, it's cool - but only if it remains civil.
I also can't be involved with the organising, I just don't have the time but I am happy to promote the winning entry.

my 1st entries will be non joe, so dont feel im trying to force joes into this, i just want it to be an option!
