I dropped Bob Brechin a line asking if they rang any bells, the reply back was;

"the figures are some of the many that were developed and discarded. I distinctly remember the guy with the beard. I think he was part of some scientific team. We made up and did paint jobs on loads of figures until we hardened down on the five teams including the "baddies"."


Brilliant that you're still hard at work chasing leads on all this Indy.

It's rather annoying that Lightning's mortar was hidden away by Palitoy until Xmas 84 and the :sas: Battle Gear - and deployed to the :enemy: 's gear at the same time for fich's sake. Where's our fire superiority gone?

And is the ex-Palitoy dude the one who previously fielded actionforcetoys' questions about 4-5 years ago?

Just curious. It's a welfare of Lindy Pine angst thing.

I believe so, for the last few years I've been trying to track down and make contact with many ex-employees to build a picture of the company, life there and how things were done, as very little information is documented out there.
