A lot of outgoing Grads from Donetsk city centre last night - usual Russian practice to dissuade counter-battery fire.

However, Ukrainians replied in one Donetsk suburb - area known as 'Motel' - took out an ammo dump, possibly recce'd before.

Some of the immediate aftermath ...

Battle continues all around Avdiivka and Svitlodarsk.

For the first time ever USAF have B1s, B2s and B52s in Europe for Baltic exercises.

.... Of course the Russians intercepted the first B52s and B1s to make the Livonian run in daylight.

Russians decided - almost by return of post - that a rare Baltic outing for the Blackjacks along with some of the usual other kit was just the tonic for Finnish and Swedish airforces today...

Free to those who can afford it, very expensive to those who can't.

... Tho' perhaps not quite as creative in the bedwetting department as the MIG31 turning up unannounced on a Norwegian F16 a few years ago ...

USAF FA18 shot down a SAF Su22 a few hours ago. Wonder where that will all end. Iranians had just put some ballistic missiles into the vicinity as payback to the Wahhabis who turned up in Tehran the other week. Launched west of the Europe-Gulf air corridor though, Iranians are sensible like that.

Start of this vid has become quite popular in certain quarters of late, but was just the Finns putting together a few exercises in early 2014, they knew things were going to get hot thanks to cocky uninvited RUAF Ilyushins gamboling around post-Crimea and a few other uninvited tourists trying to buy property near main roads in the east.

Confirmed. First air-to-air kill for US since Allied Force in 1999.

Assad-Russian-Iran-Hezbollah-Trump-Erdogan axis was hitting the Kurds via SAF and Pentagon responded.

Let's wait for the Pentagon to hold the line against the above when the reprisals come.

Maybe Trump will send his Full Force MMA bodyguard round the Beltway to request compensation on behalf of his creditors.

Wonder how that will work out.

Not so much footage from Ukrainian frontline these days for a variety of reasons.

But here's some footage from one of the last volunteer battalions near Avdiivka in May this year.
