You know the only thing going through my head in Paris is what the French did in New Zealand in 1985. It is hard to have sympathy. One mans terrorist.......I remember that quite vividly.
The whole shooting match is a mess, Ukraine, Iraq, Afghanistan, North Africa, Central America... just a big mess. These days I just don't bother watching TV or listening to the radio, I'm over all the Womans weekly tabloid crap that gets churned out these days.
Ah well, at least we have Schnelfuer News.

Oddly enough there was an assumption until a few weeks ago that this somewhat off-topic thread could be brought to a close with Russian Marines from Sevastopol - or Vladivostok - or Murmansk - hitting the Syrian shore in a "Dzheryan" (Джейран). Or even its successors (even Greece uses one of them).
However, it was not to be, as cargo planes from Mozdok, Moscow, and Kazan did the job along with cargo ships from Sevastopol and Novorossisk gliding untroubled into Lattakia port.

Funnily enough two French individuals were once on a NATO course in Poole or Portsmouth with what we may call the "RM" and disappeared one day ... how the Brits sniffed at the continental temperament ... within 72 hours the Rainbow Warrior was sunk ... and later said abscondees appeared on the ******** news.
Now France is in bed with Assad and Putin they will have lots of practice at committing war crimes and uploading them to youtube as per RF MoD troll factory protocol (oh, someone shot down a jet, lets use thermobaric weapons in retribution against a non-IS village and post it on youtube, that'll increase the refugee flow to our advantage seeing as we blew up their markets, bakeries and grain silos, eternal glory to Uncle Joe's petri dish etc.). But then we've all watched the Battle of Algiers.

Could have uploaded a lot more, the Antonov cargo planes flying in with the SU 34s and SU 24s beneath them and the ELINT kit circling the Med trying to watch them, and now UK put three destroyers through Gibraltar for the first time in years to support the four Tornados and now some Typhoons in Cyprus and yeah the Russians have been on the ground for months now and its an all arms op to support Assad and the Israelis bomb Damascus airport that Russia control but only to hit Hizbollah targets with Russian consent because Hezbollah is not a terrorist organisation in Russia but if you live in Aleppo you are attacked and bombed by Russia Iran Hizbollah Assad and IS and that's when you say **** it I'm an Armenian and I swore to stay here but I just saw the first responders get nuked ...
... I could go on. But I missed out the bit about UK rolling around in US uniforms on one op, and sitting on Mount Sinjar for three months. Hmm, wanted to write Mount Igman for a moment there. And it's getting hot again on the frontline in Ukraine.

The funny thing is a lot of this sh*t goes on to have been triggered before WWII, it is a giant Bolshevik pie making mess. Korea, Iraq, Syria, Afghanistan, Israel, Palestine, Vietnam...... Really there hasn't been any peace since the f*ckwits started shooting each other in the 1930's. The war never ended.
Funny thing is a lot of my opinion of war was formed reading Battle. Happy to be a pacifist, quite OK with defending myself though.

Russian Air Force short wave radio back up this morning, Bears, Blackjacks or Backfires heading for Iceland gap to Cyprus via Gibraltar now they fixed their cruise missile issues. Or they're off to the Caspian to fire everything underneath the main international flight corridor to ME hubs.
