I have to say, I haven't found it to be the most friendly of forums.

I have been working on AM down under and can say I don't think I will bother to get in touch with Yo Joe when I'm done.

What about Aussie/NZ exclusive GI Joe figures, what about Aussie/UK/NZ/Euro figures? Do they not exist any more?

Did Hasbro own CPG? It was and is an international market and they are trying very hard to ignore that, it seems. I really can't see why anyone at Yo Joe would be upset about adding a limited number of references to the archive, which is incomplete might I add.

Gauch, Jammer, Red Shadow, etc are V2 and Dolphin is V3. End of story. I can understand some things being a mammoth undertaking, but I can't say that this is. Ah well, its their archive and they can sh*t in it if they like.

As for friendly, its hard to compare BFTB to anywhere else. AMHQ is the only other that comes close.

Sad thing is it's not the whole of the Yo Joe community, it's one dickhead admin pissing in the water 'cos he misread a request and doesn't have the common sense to back down and admit he got it wrong.

Beautifully put, Monkfish. I'd like to state categorically that I have no problem with Yojoe or it's membership. I just refuse to eat sh*t from a jumped-up little nationalist.

I'd heard talk of ill feeling amongst certain Joe fans that the convention specials were based upon overseas variants. I'd dismissed it as unlikely in this day and age, especially in light of the cameradie I have found amongst the Joe fandom. Unfortunately I can see no other explanation for this moronic behaviour.

Has anyone else noticed that he hasn't addressed a single point I've made? Either in the forum or the e-mails? Not a one, didn't want to hear a single word I had to say on principle alone. Never trust somebody who won't look you in the eye.

The thing that angers me most is Antarctica worked like a dog to incorporate BAF into Yojoe. I hadn't realised he did it despite opposition among his own team. He left to join the Peace Corp last month, now I fear all of his hard work will probably be undone.

Hopefully, as Goofateer points out, the admin will change in time and this bullshit can all be forgotten.

I may be new as a poster on these forums but I've lurked on both sites for quite a while now, and honestly this seems like a regrettable situation that could have been avoided easily had cooler heads prevailed. That said the majority of over-reaction was on their side, and while I do think you may have pushed things a bit further than needed Baron, you definitely held the high road, and the end result is just sad.

My opinion of YoJoe was that it has only been good as a picture archive, and that they haven't even been bothered to up date the convention or international sections with the great stuff JoeCanuck has released thru the Canadian Convention has bugged me for a while.

The over complicating of the situation, The Barons banning, and the threat to ban other who speak up for him, stinks and shows a mentality not becoming of any forum, let alone one "dedicated to the G.I.Joe of the 80's, 90's and Beyond" without acknowledging that the line is made up from more than just what was released in the US. Patriotism is one thing but being a jackass as RedClaw choose to act is another. I've never felt the need to sign up for their forum, and after this, I doubt I ever will.

Suddenly I feel a lot less guilty of all the ROC wave 3 Alpha vehicles that were released in Canada, that weren't released in the States.
