He would need money to pay soviet factory owners too. Also lets not forget that there have been 2 shuttle accidents in more recent years. It could work easy enough and I think Jim is right, we know a Laser Exterminator can tackle a satellite and we still haven't found Bin Laden. Satellite technology won't necessarily decide the outcome of a war.
I still think IB/CC just wants every thing for himself.

That is very true, if you are only talking Satellite technology. Space Force was much more that just that. As far as I know that the US or any other nation doesn't have space fighters or large space complex out there. Space station yes, but it's little more than a very small lab.
With how I took Space Force was that they had the tech to just about do anything up there. They were able to pen point Shadow activity and that time of thing. I'm not saying that it should be included, as it's part of AF, it's just much more advanced that anything we have today. Our satellites are only good when they are in over what someone wants to look at, so they are not able to take surveillance 24/7. If they were we would be able to catch anyone we wanted, and that is how Space Force came through in the comics to me.
Well I'm game if you just want to use wealth as motive, but I think it leaves the character a little shallow and dry. We could have more to work with if there was some more outlining root to it all.

Yeah, let's make his need for finance a means to an end. Getting back to the official bio:
"Twisted criminal brain dreams of world dominance."
"Genius of Evil. Ironblood's sworn intent is to destroy all organised government in Europe."
I think he just wants to rule the world.
Next question. After all of his reasoning and motivation is established, is he sane?

Just enough I think, Jim. I don't think wealth is his drive, just power. But you need money to make the gears of war. Hence his piracy.

I agree with the Power craze, but do you want to go back to the root of that in his history? Might be able to work in his sanity somewhere along the lines too. Sane, insane, or a mix inbetween, though? I don't really look at him as insane, but close yes. Only reason for that is that I don't view CC as an insane person, just with a mix of it. Reason behide that would be that you don't see ether taking unneeded risks with there own life, which you rarely see an insane people do. Plus even in his twisted sense of right and wrong, he still knows the difference, right?

he may well be a sociopath with psychpathic tendencies, but not actually mouth-frothing insane.

I guess I didn't write what I was thinking, so how about on a scale of 1 to Joker, 1 being sane and Joker being insane
. How would you rate the Baron?

5. Sane enough to be calculating but insane enough to ignore his conscience.
