I don't think Jammer was having a go @ poorer or more prudent collectors, just the 14 year old kids who think they know every there's to know about G.I.joe because they've seen the film on D.V.D a couple of times.
O.K. so, personally, I could afford to buy the set if I really wanted to & was prepared to go without a lot of life's little luxuries, like say, food & accommodation for a couple of months...
Besides any one who (Like myself) can say they've been collecting toys for most of thier adult lives, spent years of being told to "grow up" by work colleagues & has posted any where near as many times on this site.. I'd describe as being pretty "hard core" personally.

He probaby wasn't T-Shot it's just both groups were lumped together in the same sentence but it does read that way.

No it doesnt read that way man your just being stupid now, dont make it out to be anything other than that.
affording the cost of the set and not affording the cost of the set doesnt make you hardcore one way or the other. Infact I wasnt saying anyone was hardcore, all I was saying was, collectors from the USA would consider anyone on this board, who frequents it a lot and post a lot. to be hardcore.
