Unfortunately, most of them have loose shoulders joints. I'm not sure why this is but I'm guessing the torso pieces don't hold the arm in tight enough.
All of them have poor fitting waist and torso joints. The Shadows like to lean when they stand. Maybe the o-ring is too small?
In addition, the foot hole is too small for the given clear stands and the hands are very soft plastic. The right hand has a very small thumb and doesn't hold things that well.
Im quite surprised to hear that, I know these convention sets were expensive, so if I had purchased them I would be well pissed off !

I noticed this on a couple of the figures the other day but not all of them (but I was also using Marauder's new stands and not the ones that came with the figures.
One thing I noticed was one of my figures had no holes on his feet at all! After further inspection I found that the paint had globbed up around the hole and covered it (one of the holes opened up after the figure fell down a couple of times for the avatar picture I took, he's in the back who's not in line with the others)

I'm not the biggest fan of the Red Torch so I intend to use those parts for a few quick customs. I like the Red Torch arms, waist and legs combined with the Red Shadow torso and head. I also like the Red Shadow head on the Red Torch.
The Red Torch waist piece works a lot better with the Red Shadow torso. No more leaning.

Are you thinking it could be your head casts?

Here's the head:
While I had it apart, I thought I'd try to fix the "leaning" issue they have.
I replaced the O-Ring with a much bigger one (The original is on the left:
But that didn't seem to have much of an effect, so I then reversed the hook on the legs:
And even that didn't seem to work as well as I wanted it to (The torso no longer leaned backwards now, but still off center) so I fiddled with it and just moved him around and he actually held in a semi-upright and forward stance!
Here's all the results after each step:

Na, theirs have a lip at the neck, so not mine!
Thanks for the piccie - it's same as my rah style ones, so I can pop a rah one on the red torch and it will go straight on with no modification needed!

a simple fix for the waist alignment is to hold the legs then turn the torso completely round 5-8 times then let go, exorcist style
after that you will have no problem aligning the waist, i think the o-rings just need a little breaking in where they are new!
as for the loose shoulder's, disassemble the torso then put a little lacquer or clear nail varnish on the shoulder joint that goes inside the torso and hay presto job done!
