Max Steel Movie? WTF Hasbro
Re: Max Steel Movie? WTF Hasbro
you can read my Action Man movie-esque fan-fic in the fan-fic forum now. it's complete.
like my AF fan-fic, it's a modernistic post 9/11 post-Afghanistan update. i think it honours VAM as well as featuring nods to the 90s stuff

Yeah, Max Steel is Mattel. Hasbro has nothing to do with this

Well, Hasbro hath spoken, and there will not be an AM movie.
Anyways, I've noticed everyone thinks on AM as a sort of James Bond or Mission Impossible story, but wouldn't Bourne or Jackie Chan's "Who am I" be more adequate comparisons? (I mean, for the amnesia thing)

not necessarily, since they don't need to use the amnesia thing. like i didn't in my fan-fic.

Thats whats so great about Action Man.. everybody's idea of him is different, or @ least that was the case when I was growing up, but that fact also makes it a hard task making successful movie out of the line.DAMartin wrote:Well, Hasbro hath spoken, and there will not be an AM movie.

Re: Max Steel Movie? WTF Hasbro
so, have any of you bothered reading my fan-fic and if so, what do you think of it as a 'prose Action Man film'?

When confronted by a difficult problem you can solve it more easily by reducing it to the question. How would the Lone Ranger handle this?

I read it, and yes, it has an AM feeling despite not being based on any other version (vintage, 90s, 00s, A.T.O.M.). The only problem I have with it is that it's made as a text story and I'm very bad reading so much text, but then what's wrong is me, not the fic.
