OK, there's this guy, right, who's conqueror of the known universe, yeah, but has this prophecy hanging over him that he's gonna get killed by someone from this race of aliens, so he has them all slaughtered, but of course one survives, being Derek, who grows up and then tries to kill the guy, but he fluffs it, trips over and falls to his feet, dagger clattering to the side, ten THOUSAND troops all point their guns at him, take aim, put their fingers on the triggers and the guy says...

"Hold your fire"

Derek of course then escapes and kills him. Ludicrous.

And what the hell was the Underbase? Did that go anywhere? See, I loved Pitch Black, was so disappointed.

I dont look to deep into movies, I just thought it was a great sci fi/action movie !

I dont think the Necromongers were behind the Lord Marshall anyway, it was a case of "convert or die" so I dont think there was any loyalty. they probably wanted to see him dead anyway ?

Sunday night & I'm on the internet chatting about toys & films I've never seen with people I know but have never met...where did my life go wrong?...

Only joking.. this sites the only place I feel normal(ish) about knowing so much about such things..

i just got a complete version of Pathfinder for £6.19 on feebay. anyone want an incomplete one for a custom?

i thought CoR sounded pants and didn't bother. i couldn't figure how they could go from a gritty fairly realistic universe like PB was (similar to 2001) to a completely daffy fantasy SF universe (similar to Star Wars).

it's like having an Austin Powers movie being completely straight.
