Oh..Oh..& you've got to have a prison cell that the bad guys can always escape from, & a armoury with weapon racks that are really just drawings, a "secret" compartment (all the best playsets have one) as well as a first-aid station, and a scale old style Actionman/G.I.Joe foot locker would really look cool.
I was toying with the phone box being the secret entrance to the base, LOL!

Malcolm, that 25th style shadow is really good. I know I've seen it already, but seeing it 'on set' is truly impressive!

Outstanding work BabyOrr... um, MalcolmJelly... meh.

Love the weathered look to the bin and phonebooth, if I was to be really picky I'd suggest doing something similar to the wooden elements on the Shad's rifle.

Seriously, these have far better detail than anything you would find in the shops. Are you planning a full dio story then?

Thanks. I still think that the classic shadow head can't be beaten by anything we've seen attempted by customisers (including myself) as it's such an iconic look.

Thanks. Yes, the idea being a UK story alternating with a non-UK story, eg Mid East, Arctic etc. The core team is Flint/Jaye/Beachhead and preferentially others who have been portrayed in the comis as part of AF's UK operation - so Tunnel Rat and Roadblock are allowed. The only exception at present is Kamakura (I have reworked that custom and added the shin armour).

I've built the Boffin's den, though it needs repainted. In my personal version of events, Boffin has been there since day 1, helping to create the AF range of vehicles, modifying the US Vamp into a Panther for SAS Force, and designing modern day vehicles such as the Snow Cat.

This poster is for the den when it's painted!

Cheers Paul

I've printed off lots of blueprints and scaled them down for his desk etc. The actual diorama is finished, just needs furnished, and a Boffin for that matter. It's a mix between a small underground style curved tiled area and an industrial small area. It's only a foot wide so that description probably makes it sound bigger. I'm going for a Q's lab look.

I always wanted to build Ground Zero or Ascension Island as a kid. This seems like a fitting homage. Another cool base would be the Space Force Satellite.
