Im not buying it but thought everyone would be interersted
Great art. and color, I see the logo has a cut off rather than a run off
too bad its not in continuity, I would love to support IDW on this but just cant find a good reason too spend the money monthly with importing and all
until they do the RED SHADOWS or do some stories on International characters Im just not interested

I know what you mean. I am going to get it though just to see what it's like.

I will say if they do spotlight/declassified stories that are stand alone issues on characters we know nothing off ie
SCOOP declassified
Bazooka Declassified
Alpine Declassiffied
Ill probally buy those as we know nothing about those characters from the marvel / DDP comics

I found this site e-news/comics-8/closeups-of-general-hawk-snake-eyes-duke--the-baroness-idw-character-designs-7525/
IDW will be reprinting old stories as well as new and Hawk is no longer crippled so they look to be forgetting Marvel and DDP's run and starting from ground zero so I think we can kiss the Red Shadows goodbye to as the new series will be GI Joe vs Cobra.
Ignore this post the link didn't paste properly

Gahhh, poop to IDW.
They made a mess of TRANSFORMERS with Simon Furman's "nothing actually happens" approach to writing, and their Star Trek stuff has stunk to high heaven (although the exception is John Byrne's "Assignment Earth" series which is a lot of fun), so my hopes aren't high.
Larry Hama is writing and the art looks good so there's a glimmer of hope, but given my experience with IDW so far, I'm not holding my breath!

I'm thoroughly enjoying their Angel - After the Fall comic, they've nailed the characters bang-on.
