I have it that there are 9 possible official card versions for Black Major.. I only have 3.

I have three plain English black major versions with different stickers. One German. One French. Think two other different language versions and then one with a different map and one with a cobra trooper weapon instead of an AK47.

Will have to get them out of their box in the attic to find out

Now wondering if I need to get back variants too? Like the Star Wars 65a back and B etc. more worrying still is I keep staring at the newer palitoy Star Wars with an urge to buy them

French and Dutch (Skeletron offer)
English card-Look out for the Exciting Action Force Comic on sale-White star (commander offer)
English card-look out for the new battle action force comic on sale-black star (Commander offer)

My Black Major collection is quite weak..

Another bit of proof here of my theory I reckon from TheKrakenWakes sales pictures.

This ticks the painted gloves barons and shadows variants were primarily early theory off, and the "early issue had the commander in the wrong side" theory off too!

From a production cost saving point of view it would make sense to drop painting the gloves and hip pouches on the later runs of figures when looking at improving margins.

I believe in your theory Steve!

Although not 100% on Muton being part of this release until I see one ;)
