I've purchased a lot of the 3d printed repro's from
http://www.action-figure-supplies.co.uk such as the aerials, chin guns, tank gun etc. and they look great. It got me thinking of a possible business plan but I don't have the time. So any chance of you purchasing a 3d scanner (hand held ones are only £150 now) and scanning the Action Man SAS Air Strike helicopter parts. Then reducing the scale down by 3 to 3d print the shapes in Action Force size please. (The clear cockpit plastic can later be home vacuum formed around the 3d printed version like an RC glider canopy, since most 3d printed material can only really manage to be opaque I think). The spinning blades internal mechanism wouldn't be replicated but I guess everything is possible in 3d, hehe. Even scanning/printing the whole body as one and doing the blades & tail separately.
Enjoying Action Man and the cross overs with the 1st series Action Force that many of us love, I would certainly buy one for at least £100, that was properly boxed/bagged with stickers & blueprints and maybe included another loose display one. Then only release them once you have 10 - 20 confirmed orders, as they are likely to be cloned by others in the future, or you could make your own plastic moulds using the 3d print outs to replicate more.
(not my carpet thankfully, just pics found online - lol)

So is approximately £2000 worth the man hours put it into such a project, probably after the initial creation as I started modelling it in 3d and realised a 3d scanner could do it in minutes but then I also need a 3d printer, so thought of you.
Night Patrol would love it!
(There is always the cheaper original Action Man helicopter that is identical except for the skid buoyancy tanks that would be easy to create in 3d, if it's hard to find this SAS version. The Action Man Scorpion Tank would be the next project to scale down and clip around the existing Tank or Wolverine body, although some of the custom mods I've seen on this site are amazing! Once all the VAM tanks/jeeps are recreated, then progress onto downloading free internet 3d models of modern vehicles (I have all the BF3 3d vehicle models) to scale down and print in sections- apologies if this bit has already been conceived)
**Action Man logo to be replaced with Action Force as still under copyright/license - I once read on the forum**
