Evening all
I'm back! Anyone miss me?
Nah, thought not. Miserable sods!
Due to my prolonged AWOL (despite the rumours, not due to being detained at Her Majesty's pleasure - I was active on twitter, as some of you might know!) I have no idea what this thread is about! And as a variant obsessive, I ought to find out. What did we lose in the crash? Why resurrect the thread? What was the original aim? Are these my feet?

No. They are not.

Thread resurrections are happening at random since the crash, although TKW is mostly to blame.

Ahhh, ok.
So basically, ignore the thread. It was just so full of juicy variant potential!
I must say, though, the :skyraider: 'wristwatch' is a new one on me, and will be added to the monstrous variant XL file I created a while back.
Like the idea of blaming TKW - it's always him in the end.
Actually, any thoughts on what really happened?

Of course we missed you. But we eventually got over the break up, mainly by having a string of cheap, meaningless, one post stands, where it was all about the posts, rather than anything deep and meaningful, before feeling slightly awkward afterwards, handing over a fake IP address, and getting the early morning bus home.

Pleased you made early bail and a avoided getting shanked on B Wing.

Don't forget the booze induced coma, Steve. Well, I did anyway. Makes it easier to forget.

This is illogical, Captain.

You don't need logic for single malt. :-)

:pilot: body variants:

Apart from the fly zip extending all the way down (right) the badge detailing is also both moulded & painted on.
Less noticeable is the belt buckle detailing is a lot smoother on the non fly zipper :pilot: (left):

The backs are also slightly different too, L) Non fly zipper R) Zipper fly:

I'd hazard a guess that, due to the fact that :heli:'s all seem to be wearing the non zipper fly overalls, the zipper fly variant would be the 1st version of :pilot:

Life vests,
I've also notice that there are two different versions of the yellow May West, as it's detailing is exactly the same as :pilot: 's tan version, I'm guessing that A is the earlier one with B being the later series 2 :sas: issue:

I know you said something about SAS frogman's feet variation but has anyone mentioned the curved belt and wider face feature also hand grips are different on the newer version?

Straight belt, wide right hand grip, left hand curving away, thinner face, zip seems to go down to groin where next photo it tails off and this is more square around the groin compared to the next one.

Curved belt and everything else different to the above.
