i want an Arishikage clan tattoo, but I object to paying £20 for one at the local parlour. i don't want a huge one and that seems an exorbitant price.

Seriously, if I got charged £20 for a tattoo I'd be VERY suspicious. That's very cheap.

Sorry, but 20 quid for a tattoo is drop dead cheap. In Amsterdam price are 50 quid and up for a small one.

£20?! what do you expect, do you realise how much effort goes into a tattoo?!
to be honest, if it's only £20 i'd be bloody suspicious of their hygiene standards, our MINIMUM charge is $500 hong kong dollars, which is about £45! it's not worth wasting ink caps, needles etc. for anything less. you do realise everything should be single use right? a tattoo the size of a freckle technically costs the same amount to do as something the size of your fist!
a lot of places in the UK have a minimum of £50-£60!
i bet you would pay more than that for an af figure!

My last tattoo (15 years ago) cost me £125 !

Too true you can't give blood for a year after getting a tat or getting anything pierced.

yeah, it sucks when that happens! our work is like 98% custom (you always get someone who wants flash) & we never repeat custom work but if someone sees it online.... anyone who brings in a pic of an existing tattoo gets turned away by us.
when we still lived in London, a guy showed my wife a pic in a magazine & asked her to copy it...... it was a pic of the tattoo on her left arm! the guy nearly got punched in the face & my wife is someone you definitely dont wanna get punched by!
YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR!

I have the Arashikage tattoo on my arm, which is not uinque, but it's up closer to my elbow in the same spot the 25th Anniversary Storm Shadows have theirs and it's red outlines instead of solid red bars, which IS unique. And my other Joe tattoo is definitely one of a kind because I comissioned a guy to draw the Eco Warriors in boxes for me and then I got it inked. Yup, I bet it's safe to assume I'm the only geek in the world that has those jokers in tattoo form. LOL
Tattoos SHOULD be unique so I dig that policy of turning folks away, Ross, good call. All of my tattoos are unique to some degree, some much moreso than others.
