Good to know, had visions of Jag squadrons emerging from stores instead of using cash to temporarily keep Tornadoes from the scrap heap.
Did wonder as all the Phantoms in storage were liquidated by McKinsey and remaining Harriers were given to USMC at max 10% of face value to grease the crossed palm of the middle man, making it hard to see how the Jags could have remained on the shelf after at least fifteen years.

In theory, these AC could be pulled out of storage and used. Seen a few a Shawbury a number of years ago

The Jag's always looked like a high wing Phantom to me. They are nice lookers.
Speaking of close air support, this looks like a candidate to replace the A-10.
