i had a strange belief as a kid that i shouldn't buy the bad guys for some reason. as a consequence, my AF collection as a child was Z/SAS and nowt else. i had more Joes than Cobras (wait, i still do) and had more Autobots than Decepticons - though i had started to cotton on more to having more bad guys to give the good guys someone to fight...

I hope we see the Baroness as she should be- sadistic & evil- plus the Inclusion of Firefly & Crimson Guard  The Joes will hopefully add to their unit with Jinx( even Kamakura ),Flint or Lady Jaye.As for Destro I want to see the Iron Grenadiers & Annihilators in the mix with Scrap Iron or Wraith (he could be used to release the Commander & Destro from their prison)

Sounds good but with President Zartan surely they will be freed on a technicality or some such. Either that or do what Destro did in DDP's run and resort to blackmail and offering a bigger prize.

Zombieland screenwriters Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick plan on going straight to the source for inspiration when writing G.I. Joe 2.

In a chat with MTV, Wernick said he and Reese are off to Hasbro's home base in Rhode Island next week to "talk to the toy guys, take a tour of the facility, see all the old toys, the new toys and just get inspired."

The writers will use the trip to help them establish which new characters to use in the sequel, which Wernick said will definitely be a "continuation" of what was established in the first film and not a reboot. "We can say that we will be faithful to the first film," Reese said. "We will not be ignoring events from the first in the second."

To Reese, G.I. Joe "should be fun, it should be a ride. That's what we feel like Zombieland was, and we hope to bring that to the G.I. Joe franchise also."
Maybe they'll see the new Red Shadows figures and decide to put them in? :-D

This reminds me of a thread someone did before ROC went into production about who we would cast in an :AFLogo: film. It would still be good to see one get done with the villiany of the Red Shadows.
