Ahsoka most likely would have been killed during Order 66 I can't see her surviving whereas many fully trained jedi were slaughtered.

What you say is logic, Ironblood. However, I'm sure than more than one fan-turned-official-writer will try to keep alive most of the Jedis whose deaths were offscreen, and that includes Ahsoka.

I'd bet good money, she won't make it to the implementation of Order 66. I'm picking before the Droid army attack Coruscant she will be gone. It could also be another way to push Anakin towards the dark side. A possible plot by Palpatine?

Exactly, or she'll be reassigned somewhere far, far away...

Not seen any of the Clone Wars cartoon, except for volumes 1 & 2..they just look like long winded video game cut scenes to me, besides how long until Lucas decides they're no longer "canon" when he's bored with them.

As for fan-made edits, I'm not keen on the idea myself..O.K. the films may not be 100% perfect but, it's the way Lucas put 'em in the cimema, & it's his creation..apart from that, look @ the uproar generated by the special edition changes, if the creator can't keep going back to alter things, getting closer to his own original vision, without fans bitching, what makes a fan's edit any better or closer to being perfect than Lucas ever can?

I'm a massive fan of the 6 film's, but to me the story's been told, anything else (Clone Wars, novels etc) just seems like a pointless money making exercise to me. Let the films stand as they are & don't let them be cheapened with 2nd rate spin-off's.

P.S.
This whole "canon" business...how doe's The Holiday Special stand in it, official "canon" or foolish nonsense?..

As for the fan edits, they look to be improvements re. continuity errors as much as anything.

To be honest, you'd have to be really anlly retentive to notice most of the changes, besides I think that the continuity errors are part of the film I know & love!

Biggst complaint I've got with the special editions is..Han shoots 1st!

In fact, the "Greedo shot first" is the only thing that upset me about the Special Editions. I liked the rest of it.

I think it's non-canon GL pulled it off the shelves for a reason.
