Thanks Ironblood thats exact same message I get, 'cept I want to take an image from flicr.

How do we sort out our pics?

When you post the URL, be sure it is to the image itself, not the page hosting it.

With Firefox browser you can right-click the picture and select View Image. With IE you need to right-click the picture, hit Properties and highlight and copy the address.

That might be it.

I think there are limitations on the size of your avatar ?

you could try resizing you pic, I think there is a maximum size stated when you go to upload ?

My pic is 75 x 100 is that the right size it still tells me the url isn't recognized

300 x 300 is the max.

Mine is linked from photobucket using the image link rather than the direct link.

Will I have to open a photobucket account then?
