3 words: Marvel's Ultimate universe
one of the most drastic reimaginings/departures from the regular Marvel-verse, of the many crazy new spins on characters in Ultimate timeline was the "recasting" of Nick Fury to be completely different... the character looked and acted a lot like Sam Jackson and his past was a more of a mystery. That's why Mr. Jackson played the character in the Iron Man movie because it was no stretch to portray him, and now he IS the official Marvel Movie Universe representation of General Fury.

Paramount have moved Thor up to May 20, 2011.
they've also pencilled in Transformers 3 for July 1, 2011. although they told Variety that it's not been greenlit, yet.

As much as I love films like WB/DC's
Dark Knight, I must admit I also really like family films that I can sit and watch with my nephews. A controversial choice I know... but we really enjoy the 2004
Thunderbirds film!
With that in mind, I'd really like to see a
Franklin Richards film starring my pal
HERBIE who first appeared during
my childhood in 1978! He was voiced by Frank "Megatron" Welker.

Have you seen Wall-E? That's a great flick. HERBIE reminded me of EVE.
