Let's not change the topic into the everlasting, and useless, debate of old sculpts vs. new sculpts.
After 1990 a lot of fluorescent crap was launched: Eco Warriors, Mega Marines, Ninja Force, Star Brigade. Yeah, I would really go into battle with a confident feeling wearing my bright orange pants! Did these designers really think kids were braindead at that time? Give me a break.
Worst figure ever for me is:
Golobulus!
No playing value, looks stupid. What the hell is a worm doing on my battle field?
This disaster is directly followed:
Monstro Viper
A figure trapped in the wrong toy-line, as it is the size of a MOTU-figure.

yeah, the whole Cobra-La thing doesn't sit to well with me, the Eco Warriors and the Star Brigade and DEF etc were a steer away from the military feel, similar to what happened with the 12" predecessor. Monstro-Viper I guess is more Sunbow cartoon themed, I quite like him but not the other one, Lobotomax or whatever his name is.
Mysterio would be the head honcho himself

, 1994's Cobra Commander, he has one of the strangest accessories ever, a suctioned wall climber.

Aya Caramba GP. Looks like you got world domination in your sights
I agree re the fluro/orange crap too. On reason I liked AF was because the figures were (mostly) believable. that Baroness diver looks like she's had a rough night on the town. Much like a POTF Star Wars figure. All wrong.
Looking at the Hotwire figure, it looks VERY German. I can appreciate it for the. Look, there's David Hasselhoff. Lol.

The commander has sadly lost half his blue shirted force that he used to have, he may harbour plans to rebuild this force one day
I think most of the collectors club figures haven't been great, that one takes the biscuit though.

Wonderful Cobra army Golden Puma!
I thought I had a lot but this beats me...
And at £50 per loose figure, its a small goldmine!

That

at the head of the fourth row (from left) has no right arm emblem. Is he a rarity?

Whilst we are sort of on the subject, was there a Trooper with SIlver logo (i.e the Cobra Troopers torso, but the Officers logo). I remember reading something about him somewhere, but cant remember where now. I thought it was that he came with the Action Pack, but the one I bought a few weeks ago has a normal

with his red logo.
