yeah, we had dinner with him as he was a guest for my friend's tv show he was the producer of. He is genuinely barking mad, but hilarious at the same time, between takes he bellowed "Jar jar binks is a c*nt!" which just initially shocked everyone, then all burst out laughing.

Top guy, but I got him to call my friend and rant Voltan lines down the phone at him whilst he was at work, it wa so funny and when he handed the phone back, my mate simply said "did that just happen?"

Have a look at his presenter appearance on Have I Got News For You. it sort of proves the "he's mad" theory.
Great stuff!

WOW ! great job ! I kind of thought this would end up looking too much like Black major, however he has turned out Great ! love the uniform and the attention to detail is fantastic !

Now where to place him ? he can only go in wave one cant he ?

I may well make one of these myself, with perhaps not as much detail.

so who's next ?

I'd DEFINATELY like to see more Wave 2 bendy-limbed figures reinterpreted as Palitoy-parts-only straight-limbed figures, but my next project will be the prototype Paratrooper.

Yep, the US Marine fits perfectly into Wave 1, but the inspiration for the figure was definately Gaucho.

As for Brian Blessed... back in the old days of NO Doctor Who on telly (and before they'd begun casting children in the lead role), I wrote to Brian's agent with an idea for a theatre project in which Brian would've played The Doctor. He said Brian was very flattered... but sadly I never got the project off the ground. It's a shame, he'd have been AWESOME. And LOUD.

So... anybody got any more bendy figures as straight-limbed ones?
