check the post fromFabax about his collection he has a good photo of deployed parachute.
When confronted by a difficult problem you can solve it more easily by reducing it to the question. How would the Lone Ranger handle this?

Hey nice collander Zakkfan !

I did think of using a wok !!! but its made of stainless steel and is a little heavy !

maybe a trip to the supermarket for a clear plastic mixing bowl ?

what time does morrisons close ?

collander is ideal
it is light and has a handel for jamming in somewere
you could hang in over a shelf even
