I just wish I had some big old batteries to try the snowspeeder and vaders tie!
The TIE fighter takes Double A's, the light comes on and there's a motor that makes a pretty pathetic squeaking noise. Same with the Snowspeeder, though both tend to have a seized motor after 30 odd years.

Is it? I was certain it was then C ones. I'll give it a whirl! I'm sure they worked about 10 years ago when I last tried!

Funny, I had a AT ST gun sitting in my last box of assorted VAM bits. Now I'm learned.

Sorry I wasn't clear, the Snowspeeder takes the larger C battery while the TIE's take Double A's. None of the old Star Wars electrics were that impressive, however it were simpler times.

After five minutes or so of the double A's falling out of the snowspeeder I came to that conclusion! But I thought it might've been one of those secret Star Wars collector tricks, where it's like it's MEANT to have C's, but if wedged in right it'll take a AA.

Then I pictured ODB laughing at me and gave up!
