I think the modern gi Joe toys are as close to action man, articulation wise, as we're going to get.
If I ever get around to finishing any customs I may have a crack at a couple of modern mini updates.
The new Quinn fig will be a perfect base for a desert rat/lrdg update.

Well that's pretty much all the ones I wasgoing to do! Arctic assault, ground and sas!! Good work fellas!!

Anyone know where the Naval assault was inspired from???

That one has me buggered. I'd bet it was from something that was to be produced but never made it. Bob will know. :-)

Wasn't there an early space ranger or something of that ilk that was similar to the naval assault, I will have to think about where the hell I've seen it.

I think you might be thinking of the Space Ranger from the Internationals range.
When confronted by a difficult problem you can solve it more easily by reducing it to the question. How would the Lone Ranger handle this?
