A while back I made light of my ‘experiences’ of a certain dating site for older women and younger men…http://www.toyboywarehouse.com…;Well, today I received a rather audacious email from their ‘Site Admin’ informing me that they had ‘received complaints from the women’ I’d wrote about and asked me to remove my original post…
Actually, heres the email itself:

Hi,

We have received complaints from a couple of the members you write about in your blog post about your experiences on TBW and therefore, we would ask you to take this post down.

To put it bluntly – will I f*ck. I’m actually disgusted by the audacity and the arrogance of the Admin there…I’m no longer a member, oh – wait, wait I was actually banned for speaking up and speaking out about ignorance and racial prejudice on the part of some of these women as well as highlighting my ‘experiences of the down right hypocritical stance a number of these women have…readers can find the original posts on here still…Its interesting to note that once again said site doesn’t make note that my original missive did praise some of the women I’d chatted with via email and virtual chatroom – again, I’ll state it clearly, its a pity there aren’t more like that on there – open minded, friendly and non – judgemental. That to me, is the epitome of a ‘smart, sexy, older woman’…not so with many of them sadly.

Whats funny is that I had an inkling they or someone from that site had read my post. WordPress provide delicious tracking that I alone can access and see based on word searches, referrals and country – and when I saw a nome de plume of a woman from it in my stats it brought a wry, cynical thought into my head – no doubt its been discussed on their forum now – who cares? I don’t. I am however articulating something on my blog as it is my blog and I have the freedom of speech to do so. For their faceless Admin to have the gall to email me directly and ask me to censure this blog is disgusting – on what grounds can they ask me? I am as they themselves have seen fit – no longer a member and as such they clearly have no authority over me – what is funny is that even via their collective anonymity via their usernames they will still feel their noses out of joint as they – and moreover I know of them…

And if any of them read this – do go away….

A strange saying if ever there was one. But, strangely apt. I think I first heard it in a Clint Eastwood film - Magnum Force I could be wrong…
However, its actually true of your humble author and friend. Recently, someone I admired professionally turned out to be a complete and utter arsehole. Yes. ARSEHOLE.

When people like that show how precious and overreactive they are, and then don’t back down when given a clear example of they’re being in the WRONG – why bother to respect them further? It matters little after that to pay any further deference nor respect for such people – whom, truth be told expect it just for simply being…them.

More like one of his Uni lecturers gave him a frank & honest appraisal on the standards of his artistic abilities & output upon which he, unsurprisingly, totally disagreed with..how old is this guy?
From his blog I'd of guessed he's a sulky teenager...no wonder he's using a dating site aimed at mature women, it sounds as if he needs a strong mother type to take responsibility for him.
