If you can prove your gift payment was for goods etc I'm pretty sure you can open a dispute. Why can you not reopen a dispute? Seems a bit dumb.

Nope, nothing to do according to the "nice" supporter at Paypal. When you close a dispute its closed 4ever and there is no chance of opening one on a gift transaction. So from now on I just need to spend that extra cash on fee-compensation and make sure I can get my money back when dealing with scum like Skyline

I must admit that running into a guy like that really takes the fun out of collecting/trading/buying but then I look at some of the threads in here and I am back in good spirits :drink:

stkhlmdk wrote:I had ordered stuff from him in two runs, first some figures and a wall-plaque and then secondly the 4xBAT and 3xIncinerators. After putting the pressure on him with a dispute on Paypal he finally delivered the stuff (I thought) to Marcus but before I was able to confirm the delivery I closed that dispute (stupid-stupid-stupid :duh:). Then Marcus told me that one of the Mutt figures was missing from that delivery + those BATs and Incinerators so I started to write him PMs about these item and the refund for the £15 I paid for shipping to DK. This then dragged on for quite a while and then he threw in that PM about the puppy chewing up the BATs............. :headless:

So by now I was all "f*ck you a-hole" but tried to be calm and asked him to deliver the Ninja Battle Set to Marcus instead of refunding me the shipping and then just refund the rest (BATs, Incinerators and missing TF Mutt) to which he answered "but the incinerators are fine?". He is now again trying to drag this on for ever and ever and I have told him to just get that set and those 3xIncinerators delivered to Marcus and then refund me for the 4xBATs and TF Mutt. My options are limited in terms of disputing the second payment as I foolishly enough chose to use the Gift option instead of the Purchase of Goods option I used for the first payment and apparently you cannot reopen a dispute on Paypal or I would have done that in a heartbeat with my first payment.

I am really at a point where I want to flag this idiot as major con-man on all available forums I am signed on to but I need to get this settled before I start to rant about all of this on those boards.

i tryed to be cool as well with my moc medic. i took it to the point where i was emailing him 5 times a day to his hotmail email and just kept trying till i got mad and told him a few things.

if i was rich i would of took a flight over and took care of business.
this is what makes me upset. these toys should be fun to have and trade. this is why the community is so small.

but like everything else the trash much be taken out at some point

In the light of that statement, we know who here is trustworthy and who isn't. It does make for an easy fix from this point on.

Still no news in the matter, last PM from Skyline stated that he would list some more stuff and then he would try to refund me the owed £50 + deliver some items to Marcus………that was early last week :(

Sorry Rene to hear about this. i was tempted to make a new account on all the boards and just blast the guy. and call him out. this is what turns people away from the hobby. but again like Chopper said. we know who is trustworthy and who is not. simply ban him from the sale and trade threads or block the ip once this is done.

on a side note. does anyone know his address we could send him a real nice gift something similar to this

Well Z Force Loon if you did that all you would have done is get a bad rep and probably banned from those boards. As the Baron stated he can't specifically ban anyone from threads it's an all-out ban or nothing.

How about an administrative lock of his current and future sales threads until he settles the current deals? Baron could write that threads are locked due to too many outstanding deals and will be unlocked when sorted out? That way he can still post in other threads and people can still contact him through the PM system.
