*sigh*, I will just have to keep reasoning with him until he finally gives up or sells some more items with all his new sales threads on various boards and thereby gets funds on his account..........just hate that my "problem" is getting pushed onto others who have no chance of knowing what is going to happen now

See, that's now in a way tipping over to the "ban him" camp. Whether it's genuine cock ups, or what, there's no real excuse for listing items you've not got, and then even when it comes to light he's not got the decency to say - " here's your money back".

Screw it - be it through incompetence or malice, if he's not got the testicular fortitude to hold his hands up and say "I f*cked up" he shouldn't be allowed to trade here.

When it goes that far, I agree. If he can't man up then its not worth it. The whole point of feedback, as I see it, is to weigh up the pros and cons. Too many cons and your out.

How about a custom avatar title that says "BANNED TRADER"?

Maybe a corresponding sticky thread about this new measure in trades section?

I did indeed tell him straight I thought he was poor at the selling lark, he knows he's sh*t at organising himself. And like I've said previously he gave me the run around and lied to me 3 years ago he won't change.
I see very little option but to ban him no if's no buts just ban, if you can stop him trading I doubt very much he will post anymore anyway so a ban is the only logical outcome. Firstly we need to get Rene his money back though.

I can only really delete his Sales threads, but then Rene is screwed. What reason did he give for not refunding you, please? Can you quote him for us?

Nice thought on the custom rank, but as the majority of Elite ranks are stoopid, I doubt people will notice. He could change his avatar back at will. But no, he should issue a refund.

This is what I was afraid of.

I had ordered stuff from him in two runs, first some figures and a wall-plaque and then secondly the 4xBAT and 3xIncinerators. After putting the pressure on him with a dispute on Paypal he finally delivered the stuff (I thought) to Marcus but before I was able to confirm the delivery I closed that dispute (stupid-stupid-stupid ). Then Marcus told me that one of the Mutt figures was missing from that delivery + those BATs and Incinerators so I started to write him PMs about these item and the refund for the £15 I paid for shipping to DK. This then dragged on for quite a while and then he threw in that PM about the puppy chewing up the BATs.............

So by now I was all "f*ck you a-hole" but tried to be calm and asked him to deliver the Ninja Battle Set to Marcus instead of refunding me the shipping and then just refund the rest (BATs, Incinerators and missing TF Mutt) to which he answered "but the incinerators are fine?". He is now again trying to drag this on for ever and ever and I have told him to just get that set and those 3xIncinerators delivered to Marcus and then refund me for the 4xBATs and TF Mutt. My options are limited in terms of disputing the second payment as I foolishly enough chose to use the Gift option instead of the Purchase of Goods option I used for the first payment and apparently you cannot reopen a dispute on Paypal or I would have done that in a heartbeat with my first payment.

I am really at a point where I want to flag this idiot as major con-man on all available forums I am signed on to but I need to get this settled before I start to rant about all of this on those boards.
