cenagijoe emailed me on eBay and asked if I shipped to China, I replied saying yes I do (I ship worldwide) so after a bit of negotiating a price on ebay as he stated he wanted them but couldnt afford the price for both so I dropped it a bit he went ahead and made the offers in which I accepted and brought two figures from me, after he brought them he sent me this link with this Chinese address...

But when he pays his paypal details are completely different

10 days go by with out a reply then I get this message

I never had any other messages so I dont know what he is on about.
So I sent "Hi no I have still not sent these figures, as I was awaiting for you to okay it to go to the American address on paypal."
Then I gave it another few days and just shipped it out to the address listed on Paypal fully covered with tracking and enhanced compensation to cover the whole amount.
Then on the 5th of April I get this message
Hi, I have not receive the package, and I can not track the package , if you can track it and get some infomations? and when did you ship it out? thanks.
I replied with the tracking details
and on the 10th of April I get this message
Hi, I check the tracking num you gave me ,and it said send with a american mailing system. did you mail it to US? I gave you a CHINESE address. and can you check the item again .and tell the shipping address you mailed. thanks.
and then on the 14th of April I get this message...
Hi, my friend received the package ,and checked the tracking number on package and you gave me , that is the same, and you mailed me a empty box, it sealed well and my friend cut it with knife, but nothing in it , and I rember I gave you the CHINA address and asked you mail to CHINA, and you promised, and I refer 2-3 times after, but finally, you shipped to US and Not contact with me . and this item ended is Mar 7, and you said I can get in Mar 30th, but you mailed it in March 30th, I donn't know what happen in those days. so when my friend told me you ship a empty package, I feel it more like a trick, so I wait you give me a reasonable explanation, and I hope you forget put them in the package . Today is a bad day. reply soon . thanks. I will upload the pics of your package soon.
and that is when he opens a paypal dispute.
This is my reply
"Hi I can assure you 100% the figures where in the box when they was sent, I will e-mail the receipt which shows the weight of the packet was not empty, this is an official receipt from the post office. I have phoned the royal mail and they have said I can put in a claim as I have the proof of postage and I also paid for advanced compensation to cover the packet at £110 this cost me extra why would I of bothered doing this if I was just going to send an empty box? They also asked me to ask you to ask your friend if the box looked tampered with i.e different colour cello tape I used only brown parcel tape or if there was any sign of it being opened and then re-sealed? If you would like me to put a claim in on your behalf I would kindly ask you to close all the disputes against me, as I have done nothing wrong and just followed paypal's policy. lmk either way Daniel."
The buyer is still adamant I sent him an empty box and does not want to take my help, I personally believe the buyer had no intention of wanting to pay for these figures, if I had sent them to the Chinese address I reckon he would of said he hadn't got them but as I sent them to the American address with full tracking and in which some one had to sign for them he has started saying the box was empty.

Whole thing reeks of being a scam by the Buyer I'd say. I'm always ultra cautious with stuff like that, as have you been, but even then the wily SOB tries to scam you! Hope it works out for you.

Wow! This really is a nasty scam!
Personally I think you've got a strong case. You did the right thing: you shipped the goods to the address of the person that paid. And you've got proof you shipped. You also did the right thing by offering him help.

I can't make out the receipt, but does it clearly state the weight of the parcel? What is the buyer's feedback like?

54 all positive since joining in June 09 packet weight says 0.060 Ive just put the exact same figures in the exact same box with bubble wrap and it weighs in at 0.064 then there would of been the paypal postage label and a bit of cellotape so by the time the post office lady got it it would of been around 0.068 at a guess.
