My Blades and HAWK arrived.

Very impressed indeed

The boots and gloves are grey plastic, so shouldn't wear when being put in and out of the Hawk. The SAF logos and Union Flag are done in paint, so that's good too. I did find Blades tricky to fit in the Hawk - mainly lining up the plug with the hole, but I didn't want to force it or scratch paint off the back so I didn't give it my all (he does however still sit in nicely regardless. Other 25th figures have fit in the 25th Fang, usually with a bit of pushing, so it should work OK.

Overall, VERY impressed. Much better than a custom job (and paint wear shouldn't be an issue)

The downside??? We haven't got any others yet. On the basis of this we need more AF 25th style figures!!!

Haven't had a chance to track mine, but it left the US on the 22nd.... so Blades is flying over the Pacific in the first ever 1 manned gyrocopter trans Pacific flight. Damn he's gotta be close. Thanks again, Aire.

Did you get any pics of yours being opened, Malc?

At the convention Hasbro was asked about the Quarrel repaint and Artic Cobra Commander and they said at this time there was no plans

I realise I am way, waaaaaaaaaaay, way late on this, but are there any spare comics I can tag my name to? If not, no worries, I'll nab Steve's when he isn't looking :)

Dave.
Sundance has had to drop out, Dave, so if you wanted to co-ordinate with Aire and Steve looks like there's a spare comic available.
