You should have seen the post before I edited it (mostly to keep from being banned)....there was some pretty strong language in there about expecting ignorance from the newbies who frequent the site, but expecting better from people who were moderating the site......

And now for something completely different.....

Is it just my childish mind, or does the F Force logo look incredibly like a set of "twig and berries"?

Hisstank have moved the thread to "News and Rumours"

Thank you Volleydan.

I had a word with Her Maj and she knocked me this up to silence any other dissenters.

Awesome. I have never been to HISSpank before tho, and after Jamar's fun and games, I probably never will. Yo Joe.......

What did you have to do to get the Queen to vouch for you?

You might want to think about seeing a doctor...

Threatened I'd go public.

Jamar, my friend...high road ;-) . You know what though? That's neither here nor there. This post isn't about HissTank or inter-board silliness, it's about BFTB & the info that Dave shared today.

Dave, the thread in question been front paged. There's something very unique here that needs explaining, on many different levels.

Many fans that are vocal in our community now are younger. They're geared towards the 25th & Modern Era style toys and don't care too much for the "Older Generation" stuff. That's not to say that they're ignorant, but just indifferent on the topic.

You then have the "Old Schoolers" like myself that are also conflicted. We are all amazed by the finding of this info but of course have our doubts, because let's face it, we're old & jaded (Lord knows I am). *I'm of course kidding about the Jaded part....but if the shoe fits.

This is great news but you will always have those that have their doubts. You will always have those that just shrug it off because it's nothing "new"...but you will also have those that applaud the info shared today and look forward to any more info provided on the topic.

I personally hope that the story of Bombadier causes younger fans to take more of an interest in the rich history of G.I.Joe on both sides of the pond. That said, the Web is an angry place, so as a bit of advice, be sure to take the high ground if/when you start taking slack from all the nay sayers (like me ;-) ).

So, to finally end this rambling post, Congrats on on the solid report and thanks for sharing this news. Jim, Dave...if this is a wicked April Fool's Joke...then damn you both, I expect a pint from both of you.

Cheers

Erick

Bloody good point Baron - that might go some way to explain the camo on them. Mind, that Camoflage never sat well with me anyway - an urban camoflaged rocket? I was never convinced.
Further evidenced by the unreleased MMS missiles on the cardbacks having yellow tips!

Thanks for the welcome and please, PLEASE don't refrain from any "comfortable" talk at my expense. We're all entitled to our opinions but sometimes to benefit discussion as a whole we must at times curb our personal opinions in hopes that it'll benefit us all.

I'll be the first to say that I have/had my doubts on the authenticity of the piece. That's only because it's been a "Mystery Figure" for so long that it's been a bit hard to put a name to a face, literally.

I'm really hopeful that your news piece sparks a lot of discussion across the net. It feels as though so many have been so frustrated with the lack of product, movie direction, etc., that this is something positive to finally talk about.
