Thanks fellas.
TKW, I'm afraid the offer of home delivery is withdrawn!

Glad to hear you weren't badly injured, but I can imagine you were very shaken. I know that junction and it can be nasty. Did any witnesses stop?

Thank you.
No witnesses at the time, sadly. The way it panned out was he ended up in a position where I doubt anyone behind him would have seen a thing

glad you werent seriously hurt mate.
would you like an assassination squad dispatched or would you prefer to deal with this personally??
re the bad back-dont forget the whiplash, concussion, PTSD, anxiety and depression. get your GP to sign you off for a couple of weeks and wait for the monster claim.
i actually dislike the "claim culture" a lot of people i know and work with abuse but the fact the bastard drove off and you couldve been seriously injured disgusts me so take whatever you can get.
take it easy with the back dude.

Good you are ok mate.
I recently saw a lorry driver pull out of a junction on the A1M and do a u turn on the motorway back into the junction! Its only getting to get worse as well as we have a traffic camera culture rather than patrol cars.

Glad you're ok. Metal fixes/replaces easier than flesh.
The reg plate of the trailer can be instantly traced to a vehicle and the owner forced to provide details of who was using it at the time - assuming the trailer plate is not false.
With it happening on a major route a traffic cop will deal with it and I'd be amazed if they didn't pursue this as hard as possible - aside from the initial collision, leaving the scene is a big no no and a truly great way to piss off a cop.

Hope you nab the prick, Jim and glad you are OK. Its pretty obvious who is at fault in these situations.
In Aussie the trailer and cab don't usually have the same rego but both have to be registered. Shouldn't be too hard to track the bugger down. I'll happily join in the hit squad for you too.
