Stakeout's new toy!
Re: Stakeout's new toy!
FA stands for Fighter Attack
Love the ebay one with a real Super Hornet inset too! And that is a cracking price.

When confronted by a difficult problem you can solve it more easily by reducing it to the question. How would the Lone Ranger handle this?

Looks to be a better scale than the other one too Paul. Nice boat, RB.
Aussie has just bought the Super Hornets as a stop gap. Joke of an aircraft really, the can't make it to Indonesia and back on one tank, the F-111's can.

Kmow what you mean, at least the Super Hornets are better than the Bog standard Hornet it replaced. But the F-111 Aardvark that's a bomber!Chopper wrote:Looks to be a better scale than the other one too Paul. Nice boat, RB.

Re: Stakeout's new toy!
i've been after 1 of those boats for a while, missed them when they were in the shops.
spotted a really cool russian looking helicoptor last week.
looks exactly like a Cobra gunship, would just need to paint it blue.
it was a bit pricey at £25 which put me off buying it on the spot (and the missus was with me)

Unfortunately, until we get the F-35's we are lumbered wit the old Hornets too. Then when the F-35's are commissioned ALL the F/A-18's will be junked.paul463 wrote:Kmow what you mean, at least the Super Hornets are better than the Bog standard Hornet it replaced. The local TRU has a few vehicles, Bill. I can't justify spending more on them than I would on AF genuine that I don't have yet, tho.

Re: Stakeout's new toy!
agreed but this thing looked really, really cool.
think it may be based on the HIND (not sure if thats right and cant check google image)
but it reminds me of the Michael Golden image with the russian dudes on the cover.
i also dont have the room for it and have enough custom ideas already to keep me busy for at least the next 12 months.
still really tempted tho

It looks like a Dauphine. PAINT IT BLACK, CHOPPER WANTS'S IT. Well, nearly as exciting as a Puma or Lynx.

Looks like a great chopper. I agree about the RRP for these World Peacekeeper sets - seem a bit high although they are pretty well made. Seems they do turn up at carboots, more ofte than I've seen genuine Action Force stuff, so keep your eyes peeled. I'd like the Hummer they did.
