Re: UK supplier of 'O' rings
I tried repairing a Zartan and he's now got a lovely chunk of chest missing and the torso still won't split...

So is Zartan hard to take apart then? Why so? I'm after a Zartan and this could be handy to know when I finally have the spare cash to take the plunge.

Thanks Eddie, 100 may be more than I need but I would certainly be interested in taking some off your hands. How much would you be looking for?gung-hoeddie wrote:If you need some I've got 100 or so you can have,

he was put together slightly differently due to his colour changing skin - instead of the usual screw apart torso hes firmly stuck togetherthe enemy muton wrote:So is Zartan hard to take apart then? Ah, I see. Was it the same for Zandar and Zarana also?

unscrew the legs first, take off the waist and crack the torso from the inside.

Yes it is! And it's a bollock ache.the enemy muton wrote:Ah, I see. Was it the same for Zandar and Zarana also?
I think I've got a Zandar in two parts somewhere if someone is interested? I'd trade him if someone was willing to do the separation work! I'd have to find him first.
On another note, I once broke the crotch piece on a 1984 Roadblock whilst changing his O ring. I felt sick. I then glued it back together and attempted to put him on a display stand, at which point his foot broke.
I now accept the fact that it was a rather brittle figure, at the time it was devastating.
