Oi, wotch it..... thats my APC you are talking about. ;-)

I think the US one was designed purely as troop storage and from that point of view its brilliant. It holds 18 troops and has room for the OCD crazed spares filler type person. AND you can run Cobra's over with it which is better than the bulk of Star Wars storage which were essentially just boxes. However, the UK APC turret was a masterful idea. Utter brilliance.

My APC cost $20 with a heap of other vehicles and as postage for something that big (not to mention the actual cost) from the UK will be prohibitive, I'll settle with my yank one. I do plan to series 3 sticker it tho, so as to differentiate it from the Z force version.

Nothing wrong with the Rebel Transport. Plus the ATAT counts as a storage vehicle too. and thats cool.

THinking more of the 1977 stuff, like the Darth Vader helmet. I'd love a Rebel Transport tho, or an AT-AT, or an AT-ST, or an......

Thanks for all the information guys. Note one litter, so I got a extra :-D. Also got extra accessories which you really can't beat. Just wanted to make sure on the stuff, before I use them for something else, but I just may keep them with my ATC.

On the stretchers then did one of them come with that Z-Force medic? Name escapes me right now. That is the only figure that comes to mind with a litter that Action Force had, right? Or did Hasbro release Doc into the mix too? Might have to pull my Doc out and see what the number is under his litter. I thought it was odd that they have 2 different numbers on them. I normally only see that on items that come in pairs, but sometimes they are from different runs of the same piece, which this could have been too.

As for the US APC, it was great in keeping your figures together. The lack of storage for weapons is noted. Also I like the color contrast OD green/tan top over the overall green/camo top of the ATC though. Breaks up the look of it some with the top a different color, but the ATC is a winner with the interior, even with the lack of plastic detailing that you guys got stickers to cover up. I think the one thing I noticed right off the bat was the driver and co-driver seats. The APC had detailing molded, as the ATC had a sticker. APC is lacking the hitch of the rear bumper too , but I might case that part for one of my extra APCs, to give my convoy some character. If anything I think they both have rolls to do and would work together very nicely in any display or play .

On the gas cans, it's a really cool touch. Too bad they didn't include a set when originally released. I might see if I can cast me a set in that Z-Force green, just to add some character to my ATC. The VAMP cans are not the right color, or I could have just used the extra ones I have of them. What shade of green would you guys call that Z-Force green, Kelly green? Or something a little darker than Kelly green?

If anyone would like to see some pictures of the APC and ATC together, let me know and I'll post some. I could add in the CUDA, but I never got that carcoal/black version of the APC and the Night Force Scrambler I still need to get parts for, but that was an odd version with that bright red/orange highlights. Thanks again for the help.

Z Force Doc had no stretcher. AF Doc did, but it wasn't Z Force green.

Finding a paint match for Z Force green has been the bane of BFTB customisers for years. It's known as Z Force green!

Well who's bright ideas was it to have a field medic and no stretcher  :-P . I guess that answers my question on the stretchers. They were most likely different production runs then, as I would guess.

Thanks for the info Baron. Still learning these guys some and haven't got into the Hasbro release :af: stuff ;-).

That green does look hard to match. Looks something close to a Kelly green. If I make some gas cans though, I'll match the color in my resin, so I don't have to find a paint to match. Plus I need to make myself an areial too, as it was the only piece missing from the one I got.
