I won the Black Hyena, first time I've seen the box so I had to splash the cash. I've already got the blueprints so that's another completed off the list! I'll sort some photos out for you Baron when it turns up. I didn't go for any of the German figures though. Anyway, that's me wiped out after the Con. Set, those Shads better be good!

Cheers

Jon

Well I never saw that coming Mr Mathieson!

You played that well. The messages wishing me 'good luck with the german mocs!' - Indeed. :-x

Some Columbo I'd make.

Splashing the cash has moved you up the leagues. I'll have to keep a watch on you from now on as you are serious competition!

Congrats on the wins Paul, they are some fine items and very much sort after. If you ever decided to sell.....

Thanks Paul.

I hadn't decided untill 11pm last night if I was going to go for them or not. It takes me ages to decided if I will do something or not! When I sent you the message I hadn't decided to go for them. So Hopefully GF472 won't mind too much........ Mind you I will probably re coup the cash before it's needed for the purpose it was intended!

Well I got three of the German dudes! The SATT Alder, Black MAjor and Condor also a Scarlet. I had raided the piggy bank for them. Bit out of character for me I usually am a bit more reserved with the old cash thing, but I just let my hair down and went for it!

I know that they are probably well over the odds but hey ho, you can't take it with you when you go! It just may now have to be a slightly cheaper ring when the time comes... :.
Dude! You hammered me! I was in for just over $100 each for the four we were talking about. So I wasn't even second highest bidder on the Alder. So who got the Pilot then?

Not sure who got the pilot. I know my brother was bidding as well(little bugger!!).

It was a hard decision to make. I have post it notes in front of the PC working out the exchange rate and stuff, plus I have worn out the carpet in the lobby (hall for all non Scottish readers) pacing up and down deciding what to do! I knew i had to be bold because I would be up against loads of heavy hitters (Especially Paul, Jon and yourself).

So the ring fund took a wee hit :.

No ideas who got them and sorry for helping to push the prices up.

I took the two cheaper ones as i guessed that there would be more competition for the big names and someone might forget a little about the spurhund and le baron.

At least i'm now on the german moc ladder.

Strange that i got the boxed hyena for almost the same price as those two german carded ones
Oh Steve should have my scanner soon (amazon willing) and will get you a copy of the stickers

Brother has just phoned! Opening words of the conversation "Jammy Bastard", the other words used aren't suitable for a family audience........

I'm not sure that you would be able to take it back under the '16 day money back guarantee' if it were lodged there though mate???
