Well, I think it won't repeat too soon, it was just that I recently got Liokaiser (a Transformers combiner, one of whose arms is Gayhawk) and noticed the pun, so I posted this.
Besides, Metalhead never really called Hawk gay, he was just calling for Gayhawk, so he's innocent (about this, not innocent when it's about blowing stuff up )

Personally, I am a big fan of puns anyway. Ever since I became a father I am allowed by British law to use bad puns and generally cringe worthy jokes. Anyway, as Time Vine would say:

I've never owned, noticed or really cared until now, but how the hell is Metal Head supposed to walk anyway?

When briefly used in Marvel's run he was drawn very differently and didn't have that very silly looking helmet the figure has. Without looking through my collection I think the artist didn't draw the hip mounted launchers.
